"SHUX" lived in Okinawa, Japan for a few years as a youth and it opened his mind before returning to America where he was raised & later began producing video & music. He is currently living back in Japan, filming projects, hosting events, and making music, while also running creative expression after school programs for children.

While in Japan, his goal is also to open the minds of youths with his American culture, like his mind was opened by Japanese culture as a youth. He provided Hip Hop workshops & events for youth in the US from  2001 ~ 2010, and in Japan since 2010.
